FIRST Install:
Installing Menyoo PC for Grand Theft Auto V is a straightforward process, but it requires adding a few files directly into your game folder.

Here is exactly how to get it running.

Important Warning: Menyoo is a single-player mod. Never attempt to load into GTA Online with Menyoo or any other mods installed, or your account will likely be permanently banned.

1. Download the Required Files
You will need two separate downloads for this to work:

• Script Hook V: This is the core library that allows GTA V to run custom scripts. Download the latest version from Alexander Blade's official site or GTA5-Mods.com.
• Menyoo PC: Download the latest version of the Menyoo mod (usually hosted on GTA5-Mods.com or GitHub).

2. Install Script Hook V
Required for the mod to function

1. Extract the downloaded Script Hook V .zip file.
2. Open the extracted folder and locate the bin folder inside.
3. Copy two files from this folder: ScriptHookV.dll and dinput8.dll (this is the ASI loader).
4. Paste both files directly into your main GTA V directory (this is the folder that contains the GTA5.exe file).

• Steam users: SteamLibrary\steamapps\common\Grand Theft Auto V
• Epic Games users: Epic Games\GTAV

3. Install Menyoo PC

1. Extract the downloaded Menyoo .zip file.
2. Select the Menyoo.asi file and the menyooStuff folder.
3. Copy and paste both of them directly into your main GTA V directory (the exact same place you just put the Script Hook V files).

4. Launch the Game and Open Menyoo

1. If you are using the Rockstar Games Launcher, go to your settings and turn off BattlEye to ensure you don't accidentally join GTA Online.
2. Launch GTA V and load into Story Mode.
3. Once in-game, press F8 twice on your keyboard to open the menu.

Once the menu is open, you can navigate it using either your arrow keys or the numeric keypad (NumPad):

• Navigate up/down: Up/Down Arrow keys (or NumPad 8 / 2)
• Select an option: Enter (or NumPad 5)
• Go back/Close menu: Backspace (or NumPad 0)

SECOND Install:
OpenIV is the essential modding tool for Rockstar games like Grand Theft Auto V and Red Dead Redemption 2. It acts as an archive manager, allowing you to open, extract, and safely edit the game's core files without permanently breaking them.

Because you are modifying game files, never use OpenIV to play Grand Theft Auto Online or Red Dead Online. Modded files will trigger Rockstar's anti-cheat system and result in an immediate ban. Stick exclusively to single-player.

Here is the safest way to get OpenIV installed and configured for GTA V:

1. Download the Installer

The official OpenIV website has experienced periods of downtime recently, so the most reliable place to get the latest version (currently 4.1) is often through community hubs like GTA5-Mods or mirrored on Uptodown. Download the oivsetup.exe file to your PC.

2. Run the Setup

Requires an active internet connection

Run the downloaded .exe file. Select your language, accept the terms, and choose your installation path (the default path is usually fine). The installer will download a small (~20MB) package of necessary files to complete the setup.

3. Select Your Game
Launch OpenIV from your desktop. You'll see a grid of supported Rockstar games. Under Grand Theft Auto V (or your game of choice), click Windows.

4. Link Your Game Directory

OpenIV needs to know where your base game files live:

• Steam: Right-click the game in your Library > Manage > Browse local files.
• Epic Games: Click the three dots next to the game > Manage > Click the folder icon. Copy the folder path from your file explorer, paste it into OpenIV's prompt, and click Select Folder. If successful, OpenIV will say it can work with this file.

5. Install ASI Managers

Once inside the main OpenIV interface, look at the top toolbar and click Tools > ASI Manager. A new window will pop up with three components. Click Install on these two:

1. ASI Loader
2. OpenIV.asi

THIRD Install:
Installing Script Hook V is the foundational step for modding Grand Theft Auto V on PC. It allows custom scripts and plugins to hook into the game's engine.

Here is a straightforward, step-by-step guide on how to get it running.

1. Finding Your GTA V Game Directory
Before you begin, you need to know where your game is installed. You are looking for the folder that contains the GTA5.exe file.

• Steam: Open your Library > Right-click Grand Theft Auto V > Select Manage > Click Browse local files.
• Epic Games: Open your Library > Click the three dots (...) next to Grand Theft Auto V > Select Manage > Click the Folder Icon next to Installation.
• Rockstar Games Launcher: Go to Settings > Select Grand Theft Auto V under My Installed Games > Click View Installation Folder.

2. Downloading Script Hook V

1. Go to a trusted modding repository (like GTA5-Mods.com or the official Alexander Blade website) and download the latest version of Script Hook V.
2. The file will download as a .zip archive.
3. Extract the contents of the .zip file to a folder on your Desktop or Downloads folder using a program like 7-Zip or WinRAR.

3. Installing the Files

1. Open the extracted Script Hook V folder.
2. Open the bin folder inside it. You will see three files:

• dinput8.dll (This is the ASI Loader, which allows the game to load custom .asi plugins).
• ScriptHookV.dll (The main library that allows custom scripts to run).
• NativeTrainer.asi (An optional, basic mod menu).

3. Highlight and copy dinput8.dll and ScriptHookV.dll. (You can also copy NativeTrainer.asi if you want a basic mod menu right out of the gate).

4. Paste those copied files directly into your main GTA V game directory (the folder you found in Step 1).

If it asks you to replace any existing files, click yes.

Highly Recommended: Install Script Hook V .NET
Many modern GTA V mods are written in .NET languages (like C#) and require an additional plugin to work alongside the base Script Hook V.

1. Download ScriptHookVDotNet from its official GitHub repository or GTA5-Mods.
2. Extract the .zip file.
3. Copy ScriptHookVDotNet.asi, ScriptHookVDotNet2.dll, and ScriptHookVDotNet3.dll (and the .ini file if included).
4. Paste all of these directly into your main GTA V game directory right next to the standard Script Hook V files.

⚠️ CRITICAL WARNING FOR GTA ONLINE ⚠️

Never attempt to join GTA Online with Script Hook V installed. Rockstar has strict anti-cheat measures. By default, Script Hook V is designed to automatically close the game if it detects a connection to GTA Online to protect you from getting banned. However, if you plan to play Online, it is highly recommended to remove dinput8.dll and ScriptHookV.dll from your directory before launching the game to be completely safe.

FOURTH Install:
Installing NaturalVision Evolved (NVE) completely transforms the graphics of Grand Theft Auto V. Because NVE modifies core game files, the installation process requires a few specific modding tools and strict adherence to the correct order.

Here is the complete process to get it running smoothly.

1. Install Prerequisites
Required for any GTA V modding

Before installing NVE, you need two foundational tools:

• OpenIV: Download and install OpenIV. Open it, select GTA V for Windows, and locate your GTA V main directory. Go to Tools > ASI Manager and install ASI Loader and OpenIV.ASI. When prompted, choose to create a "mods" folder.
• ScriptHookV: Download the latest version of ScriptHookV. Extract the zip file, open the bin folder, and drag ScriptHookV.dll and dinput8.dll directly into your main GTA V directory (where GTA5.exe is located).

2. Download NVE

Download the NaturalVision Evolved package from Razed Mods. You can choose between the free version or the early-access Patreon version if you want the absolute latest updates. Extract the downloaded archive.

3. Install the Main NVE Packages

Via OpenIV

NVE is split into multiple parts to make installation easier.

1. Launch OpenIV and click the Edit Mode button at the top right.
2. Open your extracted NVE folder and locate the main installer files (usually labeled as Part 1, Part 2, and Part 3 .oiv files).
3. Drag and drop Part 1 into the OpenIV window. The package installer will appear.
4. Click Install and always select the "mods" folder. (Never install directly to the game folder).
5. Repeat this process for Part 2 and Part 3 in order.

4. Install Optional Add-ons and ReShade

Your extracted NVE folder will contain a folder for "Optional Add-ons" and "ReShade".

• Add-ons: These include things like enhanced motion blur, different streetlights, or performance tweaks. They are .oiv files just like the main mod. Drag the ones you want into OpenIV and install them to the "mods" folder.
• ReShade: To get the full NVE look, open the NVE ReShade folder. Drag all of its contents (files and folders, not the main folder itself) directly into your main GTA V directory.

5. Disable BattlEye and Adjust Game Settings

Crucial for preventing crashes and bans

Because NVE modifies the game, you cannot use it in GTA Online.

1. Open the Rockstar Games Launcher.
2. Go to Settings > Grand Theft Auto V and uncheck the option for BattlEye Anti-Cheat. If you leave this on, the game will block the mod.
3. Launch the game into Story Mode.
4. Go to Settings > Graphics. For NVE to render correctly, set PostFX to Ultra, Particles Quality to Very High, and Shadow Quality to Very High. If you have an RTX card, enable Ray Tracing.

Once in the game, you can open the ReShade menu by pressing the Insert key to tweak the visual effects, lighting, and ray tracing intensity to suit your PC's performance.
